Truth & Valour Media Production (Veritas et Virtute) is Timothy James Reese's personal publishing and multimedia imprint. When Tim completed the original manuscript for his first work - Lucky 13 - in 2011, he began researching the world of traditional publishing. Deciding professional solicitation was the best way to get his text on the desk of a publisher, he worked under contract with a literary agent. During this time, he gathered feedback from the publishers who were presented with his work; and while Tim weaves faithful Christian concepts into his writing, many of the topics and themes push the boundaries of what a reader might typically find in a Christian market release. This is where his struggle became real. Christian publishers questioned the gritty, often violent and adult realities in the book. Secular publishers said the book would be better without the spiritual elements. He considers his many readers and their diverse faith backgrounds a blessing, and is proud that his stories appeal to a broad audience that spans the globe. That said, he doesn't write just for Christians - Tim simply shares what's in his heart as he's led during the writing process. No agenda, just simple sincerity.  With this in mind, he decided to chart a course of his own. Tim declined to renew his contract with his agent and developed a strategy for self-publication. Five books later, Tim has continued this process and remained true to his core beliefs all while releasing adventures that allow readers to journey along with the characters to vastly different settings - all thanks to Truth & Valour.

Tim created the Truth & Valour imprint as a means to deliver professional quality books, music, web design, marketing, and more to his readers. What's interesting is Tim's introduction to publishing was not his first foray into media production. At the age of 19, when Tim and two friends formed the band [proselyte], they realized how difficult it was for young, local bands to get exposure and bookings. Tim recognized they and their fellow bands needed an edge to help them get their foot in the door. The result was TRIBAL7records. Within a few months of the private label's inception, four bands filled the roster. In total, seven bands signed with the label, all receiving the representation of TRIBAL7records which included branding development,  studio recording and engineering, and merchandising opportunities. The end-goal was achieved as several bands on the label continued on to sign with major labels and continue to tour and release music to this day. When Tim graduated from college, the time for the label had come to an end,  but the spirit of TRIBAL7records lives on in Truth & Valour Media Production.

At the moment, Truth & Valour solely represents T. James Reese. However, Tim has helped several other authors with creative support including character development, proofing, and cover design. He's also partnered in the role of advisor and producer on a handful of music projects. Tim dreams of one day using Truth & Valour Media Production as a full-service publisher representing artists, authors, and musicians with similar convictions and a desire to produce quality books and music that holds true to their beliefs with no question or compromise. This is what Truth & Valour is all about.
